HANDMADE IN GERMANY
- The 320-layer Damascus steel is forged from the armor of the German battleship Tirpitz
- The salvaging of the steel plates out of the sunken vessel of non-stainless steel has long come to an end. This historic steel is being used for scientific purposes as well as for space travel and is now a rarity on the market.
- The full tang has full thickness across the width of the blade, which gives this knife extraordinary stability.
- The balanced handle has an excellent grip, even in the cold or when wearing gloves.
- The bolsters are made of stainless steel and the handle itself is made of green stabilized maple burl wood and black fiber
- The sheath is made of traditionally-crafted saddle leather and is black in color
- Solely vegetable tanning materials are used during the tanning process. The leather is retanned in drums over a period of 6 to 8 weeks.
- Please note: delivery time can take several weeks.
