ECO - Our responsible philosophy

We all want to live in a healthy environment.  However, it is up to us to promote and contribute to the sustainability of a healthy environment.

The principles of environmental protection include all practices that help us create activities to ensure our health is protected.

Since the early 1960’s, we have learned to become more environmentally responsible because of our mindfulness of the adverse damage to our surroundings, such as ocean acidification, deforestation, and the change in composition of the air we breathe.

Environmental advocacy does not stop at national borders.  If the world would commit to protect on a local level, then we can minimize or reverse the damage that years of carelessness have caused.

Organic farms do not consume or release synthetic pesticides, therefore preventing damaging chemicals from seeping into the environment.

A certification system was created to track, measure and provide transparent documentation for processes involved when producing textiles from organic farming.

In 1992, the Oeko-Tex® 100 Standard for textile products was implemented.  Products that are manufactured in accordance with these standards and receive certification are given status as being safe and designed to prevent harm to our health.

In compliance with the the Oeko-Tex® 100 Standard and human ecological quality standards, all products must adhere to strict criteria during the conventional production process.

These criteria apply worldwide for certification, guaranteeing a consistent level of quality to every customer.  The risk assessment of harmful substances was unified with the worldwide standard for textile products.

Our products which have this annually-reviewed certification are designated as such in their highlight tab.
